The Fire Country

The Fire Country is one of the largest and most powerful countries in the world. Its government leader is the Fire Daimyo. The Fire Country is marked with heavy vegetation and forests and shares borders with more countries than any other in the ninja world. This allows them to trade heavily with the other surrounding countries, giving them one of the largest populations and strongest economies in the world.

The Water Country

The Water Country is composed of many islands, with each having its own unique traditions. The country's weather is typically cool and full of mist and lakes. In some places it is very cold and snows quite a bit. It leaves itself out of most political affairs, which is understandable considering that it is an island relatively remote from the continent containing the other four major countries. This country is completely influenced by the ocean and its main income is sourced from there big commercial trades.

The Wind Country

The Wind Country is one of the biggest countries in the wordl. It is located south-west of the Land of Fire and borders the Land of Rivers and the Land of Rain. The country covers a vast realm, but that realm is largely comprised of deserts. Because there is very little rainfall throughout the year, the people of the country live in villages built on one of the desert's many oases. Despite the country's extremely harsh environment, it has a large population.

The Lighting Country

The Lightning Country is a large peninsula like country and is one of the largest in the ninja world. In The Lightning Country vicious lightning and thunder storms are a common occurance within the land. The Lightning County is divided by a vast snowy and rocky mountain range, with numerous rivers running from it out to sea. Hot springs are also prevalent and villages exist all around the country, protected by its valleys and peaks. The Country has magnificent views and has a mild climate in the summer and a cold one in the winter. It's economy is good, since it is one of the Five Great Countries.

The Earth Country

The Earth Country is the largest known country in the ninja world and is boarder to many smaller countries such as the Waterfall, Grass and Rain. The Earth Country is covered in rocky crevices and deep caves. Large Mountains act as a natural border for the country as many mountain ranges pass through the country. This makes communication and trade with other countries difficult so they rely on their large supply of resources in their mostly internal economy. The Earth Countries climate is mild but winds of the country are also particularly strong, able to pick up large sections of rocks as they go and drop them upon cities and towns.

The Moon Country

The Moon Country is located in a southern sea and includes Crescent Moon Island. The Moon Country draws its name from the shape of the island itself which is the shape of a moon. Due to its location, the country experiences mild weather and a constant summer state. This helped it become a popular tourist retreat along with its entertainment and gambling establishments.

The Rice Field Country

The Rice Field Country is one of the largest minor countries in the ninja world. It is marked with thick forests and miles of land reserved for rice fields. The temperature is mild and seems to be sunny and warm nearly all year round, this made it perfect conditions to grow rice and thus it has become a major if not the main source of income for the country.

The Grass Country

The Grass Country is a small one which is surrounded by the larger Lands of the Fire, Rain, Bird, Earth and Waterfall. This land has an abundance of bamboo forests, grasslands filled with strange mushrooms, rivers and flowery hills. The way in to this country from the leaf is the famous Tenchi Bridge, from the Rain Country it's the big bamboo forest while other paths to the country to hard to find due to rocky cliffs, only a few know their way around the big canyon to get into the waterfall.

The Snow Country

The Snow Country is a small and peaceful country constantly experiencing winter. The country has been targeted by the bandits several times. It is almost always snowing in this country.

The Rain Country

The Rain Country is one of the most secretive and strict countries in the world. The country resembles most of the other countries, with forests dotting the landscape. It is unknown why the country is called Rain; it may be due to seasonal showers which give the region more rainfall than other countries. The country shares borders with Earth, Fire, Grass, River, Wind and Bird. Being centrally located between many of these countries has caused it to be their battleground in past wars. This strife caused the country to adopt strict border control. Any visitors must clearly state their purpose, length of stay and be kept under constant surveillance.

Wave Country

The Wave country is a small island nation. Located off the coast of the Fire Country. It doesn't have a bridge that would connect them to main land so the transportation might be little hard over the times.

Waterfall Country

The Land of the Waterfall is quite misterious country. Not much is known about this land. Obviously, the landmark of the area is its waterfall, which is rather large by modern standards.
